Most Popular Models On Social Media Revealed

Supermodel and America’s Next Top Model presented Tyra Banks has been named the most popular model on social network with 12 million followers over Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Victoria’s Secret model Adrianna Lima followed in second with model and Project Runway host Heidi Klum ensuing in third place with 3.5 million and 2.8 million followers across Twitter and Facebook respectively.

Gisele Bundchen and Kate Upton also featured on the top 10 list. The results were compiled by Modelina, a website ranking the world’s models in order of their popularity on social networks. There was also a separate Instagram list in which Cara Delevingne and Miranda Kerr ranked highly in.

#PFW: Christian Dior Autumn/Winter 2013-14 Collection Report + Photos

Raf Simons was appointed creative director of Dior in April last year following John Galliano‘s dismiss, and his collection clearly shows his desire to rediscover the houses’ roots and heritage.

Despite the collection being 21st century, it was clear Simons was looking at the core of Dior to find inspiration including a few regular styles from the house. Cocktail dresses were about the only eveningwear included the collection, the rest generally being daywear and street style however this lack of gowns and the likes has been common during the past 3 weeks. The colour pallette was quite reserved – Simons preferring to stick to blush, grey, white and black. Dior collaborated with the Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts to create some of the hand-drawn printings on a variety of garments. Houndstooth was featured, commonly seen in Dior’s history along with bar jackets and knee-length skirts.
